Terms of Service

1. Your account

You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for telling us promptly at security@stayfront.io if you believe your account has been compromised. Information you give us must be accurate and kept current.

If you create an account on behalf of a company or another property owner, you represent that you are authorised to bind them to these Terms, and “you” means both you and that party.

2. What Stayfront does

Stayfront turns a short-term rental listing into a guest page: a guidebook, an AI concierge that answers guest questions, local recommendations, and a shop of products you curate. To do that we import public information from the listing URL you give us and use AI to draft content from it.

AI output is a draft, not advice. The guidebook text, recommendations and concierge answers are machine-generated and can be wrong. You are responsible for reviewing and approving what appears on your guest pages, and for making sure it is accurate — particularly anything safety-related, such as check-in instructions, emergency information, appliance operation or local hazards. We do not warrant that AI output is accurate, complete or fit for any purpose.

3. Importing your listing

When you give us a listing URL, we retrieve information that is publicly visible on that page — descriptions, amenities, house rules, check-in times, photographs and similar — and use it to build your Stayfront pages.

You are responsible for making sure that importing your listing into Stayfront is permitted by your agreement with that platform, and that you have the right to reuse the listing content elsewhere. Stayfront is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a partner of Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, Guesty or any other listing platform, and we do not act as your agent with them.

4. Your content

“Your Content” means everything associated with your account and your properties: listing information you import, photographs, guidebook text, product selections, messages, and anything else you upload or approve. As between you and us, you keep ownership of Your Content.

You agree not to publish through Stayfront anything that:

• you do not have the rights to publish;
• infringes anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights;
• is unlawful, deceptive, harassing, hateful, or sexually explicit;
• misrepresents a property, its location, its condition, or the terms on which it is offered; or
• contains malware or is designed to interfere with the service.

We may remove content or suspend an account that we reasonably believe breaches these Terms. Where practical we will tell you why.

5. Your guests

Your guest pages are public: anyone with the link can open them, and search engines may index them. Do not put anything on a guest page that you would not want publicly visible — door codes, alarm codes and lockbox combinations included.

Guests can talk to the AI concierge and, if you enable it, leave guestbook entries and photographs. You are responsible for the guest-facing experience you publish, for moderating guest submissions on your pages, and for complying with the laws that apply to you as a host — including local short-term-rental rules, accessibility requirements, and the privacy and data-protection laws that apply to information about your guests.

6. Licence to use your content, photographs and property in marketing

The licence you grant us

You grant BuiltFor, Inc. a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, fully paid, sublicensable and transferable licence to host, store, cache, reproduce, resize, reformat, crop, adapt, publish, publicly display, publicly perform and distribute Your Content for the purposes of:

• operating Stayfront and delivering your guest pages;
• advertising, marketing and promoting Stayfront in any medium and on any channel — including paid and organic social media, display and search advertising, video, email campaigns, printed and digital collateral, case studies, press materials, and investor and partner presentations; and
• displaying it anywhere on Stayfront’s own website, including the sign-in and sign-up pages, the marketing pages, sample and demonstration properties, and other logged-out surfaces.

This licence applies to all photographs and imagery associated with your property on Stayfront — those you upload directly and those we import from your connected listing — together with your property’s name, description, general location and guidebook text. We may display this content on its own or alongside other properties, and we are not required to credit you.

What you are promising us

You represent and warrant that you own, or have obtained every right, licence, consent, release and permission necessary to grant, the licence above for every photograph and every other item of Your Content — including any rights held by photographers, agencies, stagers, architects, property managers, co-owners or listing platforms, and including the consent of any identifiable person appearing in an image.

This matters more than it may appear. Listing photographs are very often taken by a third-party photographer who keeps the copyright and licenses the images to you for a single listing platform only. A licence you grant us can only be as broad as the rights you actually hold. If you are not certain you hold advertising rights to a photograph, do not import or upload it, and contact us at legal@stayfront.io to have it excluded.

Indemnity for content claims

You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless BuiltFor, Inc. and its officers, employees and agents against any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to Your Content, including any claim that Your Content or our permitted use of it infringes or misappropriates a third party’s intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights.

Withdrawing content

Removing a photograph from your property, or closing your account, ends our right to make new use of that content going forward. It does not oblige us to recall, retract or destroy marketing materials already produced, published or distributed, or copies retained in backups or archives. If you need a specific image withdrawn — for example because a photographer has objected — email legal@stayfront.io and we will stop using it and make reasonable efforts to remove it from materials still under our control.

Feedback

If you send us suggestions or feedback about Stayfront, we may use them without restriction or obligation to you.

7. Plans, billing and cancellation

Stayfront offers a free tier and paid plans. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe, and renew automatically until cancelled. Prices are shown at checkout; we may change pricing for a future billing period with at least 30 days’ notice.

You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and your paid features remain available until then. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable and we do not prorate partial periods. You are responsible for any taxes.

Free-tier guest pages may display advertising served by a third-party network. Paid plans do not.

8. Affiliate and commerce links

Product recommendations on your guest pages may include affiliate links, including through the Amazon Associates programme. When a guest buys through one of these links we may earn a commission. Where a plan shares that commission with you, the terms of that arrangement are described in your dashboard. We do not guarantee any level of commission, and we are not responsible for products sold by third-party merchants or for their fulfilment, quality or returns.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• reverse engineer, decompile, scrape or systematically extract data from Stayfront, or use it to build a competing product;
• circumvent rate limits, authentication, feature gating, billing or any other technical restriction;
• probe or test the security of the service without our prior written permission;
• use the AI features to generate unlawful, deceptive or infringing material, or to impersonate another person or business;
• resell or sublicense access to Stayfront other than as expressly permitted; or
• use Stayfront to send unsolicited messages to guests.

10. Our intellectual property

Stayfront, the Stayfront name and logo, and all software, design and content we provide are owned by BuiltFor, Inc. and protected by intellectual property law. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use Stayfront for its intended purpose during your subscription. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.

If you believe content on Stayfront infringes your copyright, send a notice with the details required by the DMCA to legal@stayfront.io. We will respond appropriately, including by removing content and terminating repeat infringers.

11. Third-party services

Stayfront depends on third-party services — including Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, OpenAI, Google Maps Platform and Amazon — and integrates with listing platforms and property management systems. We are not responsible for those services, their availability, or changes they make. If a listing platform blocks or changes access, some Stayfront features may stop working, and that is not a breach of these Terms.

12. Beta and early-access features

Stayfront is offered in part on an invite-only basis, and some features are labelled beta, preview or early access. Those are provided as-is, may change or be withdrawn without notice, may contain defects, and are excluded from any service commitment. Do not rely on a beta feature for anything you cannot afford to have fail.

13. Disclaimers

Stayfront is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, BuiltFor, Inc. disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, that AI output will be accurate, or that imported listing data will be complete or current.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BuiltFor, Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost bookings, lost data or loss of goodwill, however caused and on any theory of liability.

Our total liability arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of Stayfront will not exceed the greater of one hundred US dollars (US$100) or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be excluded by law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

15. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Stayfront and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if your use creates risk or legal exposure for us or other users, or if we discontinue the service. If we terminate without cause, we will refund any prepaid fees covering the period after termination.

On termination your guest pages stop being served. Sections 4, 6, 10, 13, 14 and 17 survive termination.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is material we will give notice — by email or in the product — before it takes effect. Continuing to use Stayfront after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the service and cancel your subscription.

17. General

Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the state and federal courts located in the State of Washington will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and BuiltFor, Inc. about Stayfront and replace any prior understanding.

Severability and waiver. If a provision is held unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.

Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

Force majeure. Neither party is liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
